Jeremiah 52:32

And spake kindly unto him, and set his throne above the throne of the kings that were with him in Babylon,

After Jehoiachin was released from prison in Babylon, the Babylonian king spoke kindly to him and set his throne above the thrones of the other captive kings who were with him there. This royal favor from Evil-Merodach ended a prolonged imprisonment under Nebuchadnezzar. Jehoiachin had only contemplated rebellion, yet he was kept in prison for years. That long, unusual and unnecessary confinement went beyond what was needed for security and reveals cruelty of character and delight in wantonly making those who provoked resentment suffer.

The kings with him show that a city embraces its daughters. As the daughters of Jerusalem form a part of Jerusalem itself and the daughters of Rabbah form a part of Rabbah, so the daughters of Babylon form a part of Babylon itself. Great mystic Babylon therefore embraces all corrupt Christianity together with its daughters.
