Jeremiah 6:9

The remnant of Israel will be searched out and gathered as thoroughly as grapes left upon a vine. The gatherer turns his hand back into the baskets again and again until nothing is left ungleaned. This repeated passing of the hand portrays a work of complete and searching thoroughness. The image is one of thorough judgment upon Israel, leaving no part of the vine unexamined.
