Jeremiah 9:11
And I will make Jerusalem heaps, and a den of dragons; and I will make the cities of Judah desolate, without an inhabitant. And I will make Jerusalem heaps, and a den of dragons; and I will make the cities of Judah desolate, without an inhabitant.
The verse belongs to Jeremiah's denunciations of sin and prophecies concerning the fall of Jerusalem. It foretells that Jerusalem will become heaps and ruins, a den inhabited by wild creatures, while the cities of Judah will lie desolate without people. This desolation is punishment for the people's idolatry and other sins. Babylon would bring this swift judgment.
