Job 15:5

For thy mouth uttereth thine iniquity, and thou choosest the tongue of the crafty.

This verse is Eliphaz speaking against Job in Job 15, as part of the dispute between Job and his three friends. That extended exchange in Job 3-31 concerns the cause and object of human suffering. In it the friends insist that Job's suffering was caused by his sin, wrongly judging him.

That the book is inspired means it is true that Eliphaz spoke these words, not that what he said was true. The friends' claims about Job and God, including this verse, are unreliable and wrongly judge Job, and are not to be taken as a dependable statement of the truth about him. What they said was generally true as principle but misapplied in Job's case, being drawn from their own wisdom and observation. They so misapplied it because they had never known a thoroughly good man to be so afflicted.
