Job 19:11

He hath also kindled his wrath against me, and he counteth me unto him as one of his enemies.

Job 19:11 expresses Job's feeling that God had kindled His wrath against him and was counting him as one of His enemies. That sense of divine hostility and of being forsaken came amid deep suffering, anguish and perplexity. Even while feeling forsaken, Job still held fast to his faith in God and to his consciousness of integrity. Alongside this sense of hostility he affirmed his trust that his Redeemer lives and that he would see God, showing that his confidence endured even amid deep distress.
