Job 21:5

Mark me, and be astonished, and lay your hand upon your mouth.

Job was a real person whose patience and experience of suffering teach a lasting lesson. Chapter 21 belongs to the debate between Job and his friends about his afflictions. Within that debate, verse 5 is part of Job's answer to Zophar's second speech about the portion of the wicked.

The verse calls its listeners to pay close attention to Job's words, to be astonished, and to fall silent in awe. In this setting it teaches that the wicked prosper here in this present life and that their punishment is future.
