Job 22:25

Yea, the Almighty shall be thy defence, and thou shalt have plenty of silver.

Becoming acquainted with God brings the security and good promised, and that acquaintance comes by receiving His words and His law. Keeping those words in the heart is part of how the acquaintance secures the blessing. In this way the Almighty Himself becomes the person's precious treasure.

He Himself is also the person's sure defense and security. Delighting in Him brings peace and the good that follows from a trusting relationship with Him. The security and good received in this way are lasting. Pure faith and love, a spotless character made pure in Christ's blood, and grace giving clear discernment of spiritual things and detection of sin are more precious than the gold of Ophir.
