Job 23:15

Therefore am I troubled at his presence: when I consider, I am afraid of him.

The statement comes in Job's answer to the third speech of Eliphaz, whose charge against Job was accusation of wrongdoing. In that same answer Job declares confidence in God's mercy while also speaking of the end appointed for the wicked.

To consider God's presence and greatness produces awe and fear. God is just and holy, beholding every action, word, and thought, and He will bring each person's life into judgment. That knowledge restrains from wrongdoing and makes one fear to offend Him.
