God understandeth the way thereof, and he knoweth the place thereof.
God alone understands the way to wisdom and knows the place where understanding is found. This knowledge belongs to God, who sees all that is in earth and heaven. It is beyond human discovery and cannot be found by searching, even by searching the earth to its depths.
Wisdom cannot be obtained through earthly riches or wealth. Nor can it be found by probing or trying to penetrate the mysteries of God's being. It is found by humbly receiving what God has revealed and living according to His will.
Wisdom is found in fearing the Lord, and understanding means turning away from evil. Studying Scripture and receiving its instruction gives light and teaches this fear of the Lord.
