Job 29:25

I chose out their way, and sat chief, and dwelt as a king in the army, as one that comforteth the mourners.

Job was a respected leader who chose out the way for others, guiding the course they should follow. He sat as chief among them and dwelt over them with the authority of a king, ruling with kingly authority. He used that exalted position as a leader to comfort those who mourned.
