Why is light given to a man whose way is hid, and whom God hath hedged in?
Being hedged in is being hedged about on every side. It is feeling shut in by pressing work waiting to be done. That work is urgent and presses from every direction until the way forward seems hid. The sense of being shut in is sharpened by the lack of a needed fellow worker who is elsewhere.
