Job 33:3

My words shall be of the uprightness of my heart: and my lips shall utter knowledge clearly.

The book of Job is the oldest book in the Bible and the oldest poetical book that has come down. It is arranged with a prose prologue in chapters 1 and 2, a debate between Job and his three friends in chapters 4 to 31, the speeches of Elihu in chapters 32 to 37 as the third of its four parts, the speeches of the Lord out of the storm-cloud, and a prose epilogue in chapter 42 verses 7 to 17. Within that structure Job 33:3 belongs to the instructive discourses of Elihu found in chapters 32 to 36. Chapter 33 itself is Elihu's admirable discourse to Job, which did not help Job much.
