Job 37:11

Also by watering he wearieth the thick cloud: he scattereth his bright cloud:

The verse belongs to a passage setting forth God's greatness and power in nature. In it God is seen directing the clouds and the rain. He waters the thick cloud until its load of rain weighs it down, and He scatters the bright cloud to bring rain. This watering and dispersing of the clouds displays His power over the weather.

His command of the weather in this way serves correction, care for the land, and loving-kindness. Such directing of the clouds to bring rain belongs to the wondrous works of God that people cannot fully comprehend.
