Job 39:30

Her young ones also suck up blood: and where the slain are, there is she.

The young eagles take in blood as nourishment, while the parent bird herself is found where the slain lie. In the fuller setting of verses 27-30, the eagle's power to locate its prey is something taught to it by God. This belongs among the mysteries of nature set forth by divine inspiration to show that human wisdom is limited and that many things met in daily life remain beyond finite understanding. Just as the eagle is taught to find its food, hungry seekers are taught by the same God to find Him as Father in His Word.
