Job 41:12

I will not conceal his parts, nor his power, nor his comely proportion.

The declaration belongs to God's questioning of humanity concerning the divine mysteries displayed in nature, mysteries that remain beyond grasp even for minds of the greatest intellect. Those questions were not posed to be answered but to direct attention to the deep mysteries of God. Their purpose is to teach that human wisdom is limited. They further teach that many things amid the surroundings of daily life lie beyond the comprehension of finite beings.

God is to be acknowledged as much from what He does not reveal of Himself as from what is open to limited comprehension. Both divine revelation and nature contain mysteries that command faith. It is therefore wrong for skeptics to refuse belief in God merely because they cannot comprehend the infinite power by which He reveals Himself. Men may be ever searching, ever inquiring, ever learning, and yet an infinity still lies beyond.
