Job 41:13

Who can discover the face of his garment? or who can come to him with his double bridle?

It belongs among the questions God Himself puts concerning His mysteries in nature. Even persons of the greatest intellect and the most profound scholarship cannot answer it. It was posed not to obtain an answer but to call attention to the deep mysteries of God and to teach the limits of human wisdom, for in the surroundings of daily life there are many things beyond the comprehension of finite beings. It makes plain that the infinite power by which God reveals Himself cannot be comprehended, so He is to be acknowledged as much from what He does not reveal of Himself as from what is open to limited comprehension. In both nature and divine revelation God has given such mysteries to command faith, so that people are ever searching, ever inquiring, ever learning, and yet there is an infinity beyond.
