Leviathan Rises Breathing Fire From the Seaby emmanuel_higgins

Job 41:18

By his neesings a light doth shine, and his eyes are like the eyelids of the morning.

This text belongs among the divinely inspired questions concerning the mysteries of Jehovah made known in nature, mysteries that persons of the greatest intellect are unable to comprehend and that no scholar, however profound, is able to answer. The inquiry was posed not in order to receive an answer but to direct attention to the deep mysteries of God and to teach the limitation of human wisdom. Even in the ordinary surroundings of daily life there are many things that lie beyond the grasp of finite beings. Such mysteries have been placed both in nature and in divine revelation to command faith, and God is to be acknowledged as much for what He withholds of Himself as for what is open to limited comprehension, for beyond lies an infinity that will ever be searched, ever inquired into, and ever learned.
