Leviathan Rises Breathing Fire From the Seaby emmanuel_higgins

Job 41:20

Out of his nostrils goeth smoke, as out of a seething pot or caldron.

This description of smoke going from nostrils like a boiling pot belongs to the questions God puts about the mysteries He has revealed in nature, which even persons of the greatest intellect and the most profound scholarship cannot understand or answer. Those questions were not posed to be answered but to call attention to the deep mysteries of God. Their purpose is to teach that human wisdom is limited and that in the surroundings of daily life there are many things beyond the comprehension of finite beings.

In both divine revelation and in nature God has given mysteries to command faith. He is to be acknowledged as much for what He does not reveal of Himself as for what is open to limited comprehension. Skeptics refuse to believe in God because they cannot comprehend the infinite power by which He reveals Himself, yet people may be ever searching, ever inquiring, ever learning, and there is still an infinity beyond them.
