Leviathan Rises Breathing Fire From the Seaby emmanuel_higgins

Job 41:29

Darts are counted as stubble: he laugheth at the shaking of a spear.

The verse belongs to the questions God puts concerning the mysteries He has displayed in nature, mysteries that those of the greatest intellect and the most profound scholarship cannot understand or answer. Those questions were not posed to be answered, but to direct attention to the deep mysteries of God and to teach that human wisdom is limited, and that in the surroundings of daily life there are many things beyond the comprehension of finite beings. The infinite power by which God makes Himself known, both in what He reveals and in what He withholds, demands faith and leaves an infinity beyond for ever searching, ever inquiring, and ever learning.
