He disappointeth the devices of the crafty, so that their hands cannot perform their enterprise.
God disappoints the devices of the crafty so that their hands cannot perform their enterprise, frustrating their plans and preventing them from carrying out their schemes. His wisdom surpasses human wisdom and His counsels endure through every generation, while human plans that oppose His will bring suffering and disappointment. Though His work may appear tangled and complicated to human minds, He keeps it in order and carries it forward to completion.
He brings confusion on wicked people who plot harm against His people. He will bring the enemies' carefully devised, clever plans against His cause to nothing. He is trusted to bring to nothing false charges in a legal dispute, and the matter is to be kept in His hands.
