Job 6:10

Then should I yet have comfort; yea, I would harden myself in sorrow: let him not spare; for I have not concealed the words of the Holy One.

Amid severe affliction Job could still find comfort in facing death. In the depth of his suffering he imagined that death would bring him comfort and relief even while sorrow and anguish pressed upon him. That comfort rested on the consciousness that he had not hidden, denied, or concealed the words of the Holy One. His willingness to endure sorrow was joined to confidence that he had remained faithful to God's revealed words even in anguish.
