Job 6:2

Oh that my grief were throughly weighed, and my calamity laid in the balances together!

The verse expresses the depth of affliction and the crushing intensity of suffering and anguish. It is a longing for personal grief and calamity to be laid together in the balances and thoroughly weighed. The desire is that their full, overwhelming burden might be seen and measured.
