Job 6:28

Now therefore be content, look upon me; for it is evident unto you if I lie.

Job 6:28 belongs to Job's answer to Eliphaz within the wider debate between Job and his three friends about his afflictions. In it Job asks his companions to be content to look upon him and judge for themselves whether he is lying, appealing to their direct observation as plain evidence of his honesty. The appeal occurs in Job's defense of his complaints and supports the point that his afflictions do not prove he has sinned.
