Job 7:10

He shall return no more to his house, neither shall his place know him any more.

When a person dies he does not return again to his house, and the place and home that once knew him knows him no more. The places where God's messengers have labored continue to remain after their death, even though they themselves are gone. Their loving, courteous and self-sacrificing words and deeds are not lost at death but will be made manifest at the final judgment. There things long forgotten will come forth to testify for or against a person. Good deeds done in this life are preserved forever through Christ's imputed righteousness.
