Till he fill thy mouth with laughing, and thy lips with rejoicing.
God brings His people out of sorrow into joy, filling the mouth with laughter and the lips with rejoicing. This promise belongs to the turning of their captivity, when mourning and tears are brought to an end. Praise for that deliverance may begin even in this present life. It will be made complete when sorrow is forever past.
