Joel 1:5

Joel 1:5 is a prophecy of the condition of the world just before the second coming of the Lord. Its call to awake and lament portrays the distress and loss that will mark that time. That distress comes because men have transgressed the law of God and broken the everlasting covenant by persisting in disobedience.
