The likeness of leaping chariots on mountain tops and of crackling fire consuming stubble gives scriptural warrant for laymen to declare that the hour of God's judgment has come. The message is to be uttered as the Spirit of God comes upon the speakers with a power that cannot be withstood. Under that empowering, common believers take up the work of heralding the judgment hour with heaven-backed authority.
