Joel 2:6

Before their face the people shall be much pained: all faces shall gather blackness.

The Son of man appears in the east upon a great white cloud with a rainbow resting over it, while ten thousand angels surround it singing. At that appearing His hair is white and many crowns are upon His head, His feet have the look of fire, a sharp sickle is in His right hand and a silver trumpet in His left, and His eyes are as flames of fire searching His children through and through. Under that searching gaze all people are seized with pain and fear and their faces grow pale, and those whom God has rejected grow dark. In that terror all cry out asking who shall be able to stand and whether their robe is spotless, and after an awful silence He answers that those with clean hands and a pure heart shall be able to stand and that His grace is sufficient for them. At that assurance the faces of His people light up and joy fills every heart as the cloud draws nearer to the earth.
