John 4:45

Then when he was come into Galilee, the Galilæans received him, having seen all the things that he did at Jerusalem at the feast: for they also went unto the feast.

When He came into Galilee and came again to Cana, the Galileans received Him and welcomed Him cordially, because they themselves had also gone to the feast at Jerusalem and had seen all the things He did there. The feast they had attended was the Passover. His earlier miracle of making water into wine at Cana in Galilee had prepared the way for this reception, and its influence continued in their welcome.

Those who returned from the feast brought back the report of all He did at Jerusalem, so news of those works and His reputation spread through Galilee before He returned and prepared the people to receive Him. What they had seen and reported was His cleansing of the desecrated temple followed by His miracles of healing. Those miracles included healing the sick and restoring sight to the blind and hearing to the deaf.

The judgment passed upon His acts by the dignitaries and leaders of the temple further opened His way in Galilee. Many lamented the abuse of the temple and resented the lofty arrogance of the priests. His return to Cana spread through Galilee and brought hope to the suffering and distressed, stirring the hope that He was the Messiah and Deliverer, the One who had power to put those rulers to flight and the looked-for Deliverer.

Coming again to Cana, this welcome led directly to His second miracle in Galilee, healing by His spoken word alone the nobleman's son who was sick at Capernaum at the point of death, which the father believed and which brought belief to him and his whole house.
