Joshua 17:6

The verse belongs to the account of Joshua dividing the land among Israel. It stands after the account of Achan's sin and its consequences, in the portion concerned with conquering the Canaanites and with the division of the land. That division set Israel on the way to possess the land and to find the promised rest.
