Joshua 17:9
And the coast descended unto the river Kanah, southward of the river: these cities of Ephraim are among the cities of Manasseh: the coast of Manasseh also was on the north side of the river, and the outgoings of it were at the sea: And the coast descended unto the river Kanah, southward of the river: these cities of Ephraim are among the cities of Manasseh: the coast of Manasseh also was on the north side of the river, and the outgoings of it were at the sea:
Joshua 17:9 belongs to the account of the distribution and allotment of the land among the tribes of Israel.
It records how the boundary along the Kanah River divided the territories of Ephraim and Manasseh.
The river Kanah marked part of the boundary between them, with cities belonging to Ephraim lying among the cities of Manasseh.
The territory of Manasseh lay on the north side of the river, and its outgoings extended toward the sea.
