Joshua 2:13
And that ye will save alive my father, and my mother, and my brethren, and my sisters, and all that they have, and deliver our lives from death. And that ye will save alive my father, and my mother, and my brethren, and my sisters, and all that they have, and deliver our lives from death.
Joshua 2:13 preserves Rahab's plea that her father and her mother, her brethren and her sisters, and all that they have, should be saved alive and delivered from death. She was a Canaanite who turned from idolatry to the worship of the true God. In that turning she joined herself to God's chosen people. In thus uniting herself with God's people she was like Ruth.
