Joshua 2:21
And she said, According unto your words, so be it. And she sent them away, and they departed: and she bound the scarlet line in the window. And she said, According unto your words, so be it. And she sent them away, and they departed: and she bound the scarlet line in the window.
Joshua 2:21 belongs to the account of Rahab, a Canaanite who turned from idolatry to worship the true God. In binding the scarlet line in the window she acted upon the agreement with the spies, sealing her decision to leave her former worship behind. She joined Israel's chosen people, taking her place among those whom God had called to Himself. Her example shows that people from other nations who turned to God were welcomed among His people.
