Judges 11:12
And Jephthah sent messengers unto the king of the children of Ammon, saying, What hast thou to do with me, that thou art come against me to fight in my land? The message belongs to the account of Jephthah's deliverance of Israel from the Ammonites. It came after eighteen years of oppression, when Israel had put away its foreign gods and returned to serving the Lord. After sending this message, Jephthah fought the Ammonites and broke their power.
