Judges 11:20
But Sihon trusted not Israel to pass through his coast: but Sihon gathered all his people together, and pitched in Jahaz, and fought against Israel. But Sihon trusted not Israel to pass through his coast: but Sihon gathered all his people together, and pitched in Jahaz, and fought against Israel.
This verse belongs to the account of Jephthah. God raised up Jephthah as a deliverer to make war against Israel's enemies at a time when Israel was suffering under oppression. In that account Jephthah defeated the Ammonites.
