Judges 13:18

And the angel of the LORD said unto him, Why askest thou thus after my name, seeing it is secret?

The one who asked why inquiry was made after his name was the Angel of Jehovah, who appeared at Zorah to the childless wife of Manoah of the tribe of Dan. He came to promise a son through whom God would begin to deliver Israel from the Philistines. He then appeared again to Manoah together with his wife to repeat the instruction concerning the mother and the child.

The surrounding narrative in Judges 13:1-25 shows that God uses angels to communicate with human beings and to help His chosen messengers.
