Judges 8:10
Now Zebah and Zalmunna were in Karkor, and their hosts with them, about fifteen thousand men, all that were left of all the hosts of the children of the east: for there fell an hundred and twenty thousand men that drew sword. Now Zebah and Zalmunna were in Karkor, and their hosts with them, about fifteen thousand men, all that were left of all the hosts of the children of the east: for there fell an hundred and twenty thousand men that drew sword.
This verse belongs to the history of Israel's oppression by Midian and God's raising up of Gideon to deliver Israel from its enemies. At Karkor, Zebah and Zalmunna remained with about fifteen thousand men, all that were left of the armies of the east, after one hundred and twenty thousand men that drew sword had fallen. Gideon overtook that remnant, scattered their force, and captured and killed Zebah and Zalmunna. The defeat broke Midian's power so completely that Midian never again made war against Israel.
