Judges 8:20

And he said unto Jether his firstborn, Up, and slay them. But the youth drew not his sword: for he feared, because he was yet a youth.

Judges 8:20 belongs to the account of Midian's oppression and of Gideon's deliverance of Israel from its enemies. That deliverance came after seven years of suffering that led the people to confess their sins, after which God raised up a helper for them. The account stands as an example of God raising up a faithful and valiant deliverer when Israel fell into idolatry and came under oppression.
