Lamentations 2:3
He hath cut off in his fierce anger all the horn of Israel: he hath drawn back his right hand from before the enemy, and he burned against Jacob like a flaming fire, which devoureth round about. He hath cut off in his fierce anger all the horn of Israel: he hath drawn back his right hand from before the enemy, and he burned against Jacob like a flaming fire, which devoureth round about.
In fierce anger God cuts off all the horn of Israel, the horn being the symbol of its strength. God draws back His right hand from before the enemy, withdrawing His protecting power as the enemy advances to attack. God burns against Jacob like a flaming fire that devours everything round about.
