To turn aside the right of a man before the face of the Most High is condemned as unjust, a denying of a person his justice in the very presence of God. Such turning aside of what is rightfully due is not approved by the Lord, who does not countenance the withholding of rightful justice before Him.
He is not like a ruler who deliberately makes obedience impossible and then delights in the misery of his subjects. He does not willingly afflict or grieve people, but delights in mercy.
This gives comfort to those who are slandered or wronged. Wicked and unjust people may be allowed to triumph for a time, yet their injustice is not approved by God.
