Scenes From the Book of Leviticus Blended Togetherby KalebRosendahl

Leviticus 1:5

And he shall kill the bullock before the LORD: and the priests, Aaron’s sons, shall bring the blood, and sprinkle the blood round about upon the altar that is by the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

The killing of the bullock before the Lord, with its blood brought and sprinkled round about upon the altar by the door of the tabernacle, belongs to the directions for the sacrificial service that Christ Himself instituted through Moses. The bullock thus offered was a type of Christ, representing both His ministry and His death. Its ceremonies were not empty outward acts but signified a deeper spiritual reality.
