Leviticus 15:10
And whosoever toucheth any thing that was under him shall be unclean until the even: and he that beareth any of those things shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even. And whosoever toucheth any thing that was under him shall be unclean until the even: and he that beareth any of those things shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.
Anyone who touched anything that had been underneath a person with a bodily discharge became unclean until evening. Anyone who carried any of such things had to wash his clothes and bathe himself in water, yet still remained unclean until evening. A person in this state of personal uncleanness had to stay outside the camp of Israel until evening, and cleanse himself and his clothing before returning.
This requirement stands among the regulations demonstrating that precautions against contamination were enforced thoroughly.
