Leviticus 19:22
And the priest shall make an atonement for him with the ram of the trespass offering before the LORD for his sin which he hath done: and the sin which he hath done shall be forgiven him. The voice speaking in this command is Jesus Christ Himself speaking from the cloudy pillar. His standard here is no lower than in His New Testament teachings, but just as high and searching. The whole chapter around it was set forth as a lesson intended for future generations. It addresses those who have received the great gift of Jesus, and with Him all heaven, urging them to love one another even as Christ has loved them.
