Leviticus 2:15

And thou shalt put oil upon it, and lay frankincense thereon: it is a meat offering.

The meat offering was a Jewish offering set forth in Leviticus 2. It was prepared from flour and oil, with oil put upon it and frankincense laid thereon. The word meat therefore denotes food in general, not animal flesh in particular.
