Leviticus 22:5
Or whosoever toucheth any creeping thing, whereby he may be made unclean, or a man of whom he may take uncleanness, whatsoever uncleanness he hath; Or whosoever toucheth any creeping thing, whereby he may be made unclean, or a man of whom he may take uncleanness, whatsoever uncleanness he hath;
Contact with any crawling creature by which defilement is communicated produces ritual impurity. Touching a man from whom uncleanness of whatever kind he has can be received likewise makes a person unclean. These uncleanness laws stand as object lessons emphasizing the exceeding sinfulness of sin.
