Leviticus 3:6

And if his offering for a sacrifice of peace offering unto the LORD be of the flock; male or female, he shall offer it without blemish.

Leviticus 3:6 belongs to the ceremonial directions for sacrificial offerings, providing for a peace offering to the Lord from the flock. That system was not meaningless form but pointed to the coming Savior who would bear the world's sins and die for its redemption, representing His ministry and death. The peace offering was presented with prayer for God's acceptance and blessing, and the portion set apart for the people was eaten together in a sacred feast. When properly observed rather than treated as mere ceremony or self-gratification, the service cultivated devotion, kindness, and sympathy.
