Leviticus 6:26
The priest that offereth it for sin shall eat it: in the holy place shall it be eaten, in the court of the tabernacle of the congregation. The priest that offereth it for sin shall eat it: in the holy place shall it be eaten, in the court of the tabernacle of the congregation.
The rule governs the sin offering brought for a ruler and the sin offering brought for one of the common people, setting both apart from the sin offering brought for the priest and from the sin offering brought for the whole congregation. In this class of offering the blood was not carried inside into the holy place. Instead the flesh of the animal was to be eaten by the officiating priest who presented it for sin. That eating was to take place in a holy place, namely in the court of the tent of meeting where the congregation assembled.
