Leviticus 6:7
And the priest shall make an atonement for him before the LORD: and it shall be forgiven him for any thing of all that he hath done in trespassing therein. After a trespass, atonement is made for the offender before the Lord through the priest's mediation. That atonement secures forgiveness for anything at all that has been done in trespassing therein. The same requirement reaches the wrong of sowing suspicion and distrust against others. One who has done that harm must make restitution for it and bring a trespass offering.
