Luke 12:54
And he said also to the people, When ye see a cloud rise out of the west, straightway ye say, There cometh a shower; and so it is. And he said also to the people, When ye see a cloud rise out of the west, straightway ye say, There cometh a shower; and so it is.
People could readily interpret the signs in the sky, knowing at once that a cloud rising out of the west meant a shower was coming. Yet with that skill in reading the weather, they failed to recognize the signs of the times standing before them. Those signs pointed clearly to the mission of Jesus and to the coming kingdom of God. That failure to discern came from ignorance and indifference.
