Jesus preached in the synagogues of Galilee and did not confine His ministry to one place. He did not remain where people wanted Him to stay, but went on to other cities. He pressed on because preaching the kingdom of God was the work for which He was sent. He went to cities that had not yet heard the truths He was presenting. After giving the truth in one place, He left its hearers to build upon it and went elsewhere.
His example shows that the gospel message is to be carried beyond a few places to all the world. His example teaches His followers, once the message has been proclaimed in one place, to carry it from place to place and warn others.
